Vehicle Enhancement Systems, Inc. (VES) was founded in 1991 by Alan C. Lesesky, who had spent twenty years in the heavy-duty trucking industry with Freightliner, White Motor, and Bendix. Under the leadership of Mr. Lesesky, VES has committed its assets, resources and intellectual know-how toward the research and development of innovations in tractor/trailer electronics, with an emphasis on communication of data within and between tractors, trailers or other towed vehicles and remote locations. This commitment has yielded significant innovative solutions to perplexing problems for which VES has been granted patents in the United States and other countries.
VES has been contracted to develop, design, and prototype numerous electrical/electronic devices for braking, lighting, and communication systems in heavy-duty vehicles. In order to be a front runner, VES has also been actively involved in numerous projects and studies sponsored by the heavy-duty truck industry and/or the government.
In 2008, Mr. Lesesky formed Innovative Global Systems, LLC (
www.iglobalsystems.com) in partnership with a prominent local businessman to create an IP holding company that would use its resources to integrate technology using various communication platforms for the home, commercial, and transportation markets. Both companies coexist relying on the vast experience, expertise, and technology base developed by VES and its employees over the past two decades.
In 2013, VES moved its operations to a different location in Rock Hill. The new facility features 9,000-sq. ft. of warehouse space, which houses VES’s own Class 8 tractor-trailer vehicle and a trailer/dolly used to test developmental products. Future plans include space for a Research and Development Lab.
